Lemon Shot & Good Morning E3Live Lemon~Ginger~Cayenne Elixir
Lemon Shots:
A pure lemon shot is with the fresh juice of a lemon combined with and a dropper full of liquid cayenne extract and a dropper full of liquid ginger extract. I always get my liquid extract from the Penn Herb Company. Every morning I start my day with this salubrious lemon shot. Make sure you rinse your mouth out with water after downing this shot as lemon reside can hurt the enamel of your teeth.
Below is another version of a lemon beverage, when you have the extra time. I make this several times a week, too.
Yield: 1 serving (12 - 16) ounces
Preparation Time: 3 minutes… if the ginger tea is already made
This simple elixir recipe will start your day off on a healthy, positive note. There are no exact measurements for this beverage. Experiment and see what tastes best for you. This is how I start each morning knowing that I am reinvigorating my body from head to toe.
Ingredients:
1/4 - 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice (the juice of one large lemon)
8 - 10 ounces double strength ginger tea (chilled, room temperature or warm)
4 - 6 ounces coconut water (you can also use 12 ounces of the ginger tea if you don't have coconut water)
1 tbsp. of E3Live (liquid form) or 1 tsp. E3AFA powder form)
1/8 tsp. cayenne powder (start off small and add in as desired)
Directions:
Stir all of the ingredients together and enjoy first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
FYI:
Every other day I make a large pitcher of double strength ginger tea and keep it chilled 
and ready to go in my refrigerator. You can make this tea with store-bought ginger tea bags or, better yet, make it fresh using ginger root. Simply cut 3-6 ginger slices (1/4-inch coins with the skin on), depending on the strength you want, and simmer for 10 minutes in a quart of purified water.
Variation:
Sometimes I'll sprinkle in a tad of cinnamon powder to this morning beverage. When I carry this elixir beverage with me throughout the day to keep me hydrated, I often add in a cinnamon stick to give it a different flavor note and more health benefits.
